  • The programme is enjoyable, the degree course relates a lot to my place of work, but the job can be lacking in motivation and responsibility

  • the promgrame is structured very well, with lots of support from provider and employer

  • Lots, I have a course lead, a mentor, a career sponsor. As well as a whole host of different contacts who are all happy to help me

  • Lots, can easily set up calls and have quick contact with them, as well as routine check ins

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • At the moment it is helping to understand how businesses operate, and I can see those theories applied in my work place

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are small networking events but often have poor turnout, and are the same people so is limiting. There are sports activities but I set up after work football so isn't provided or run by employer

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Overall, you learn a lot day in day out, and receive a lot of support for both my work and my degree. They are also understanding of personal time, and allow me to manage my time accordingly where needed


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Unilever?
  • Apply early, and be yourself. Unilever hires based on your person more than your qualifications, as they want you to be able to fit into the company and learn the role rather than know the role but not fit into the company
