On a day to day basis , I assist a Senior Quantity Surveyor in assessing subcontractor applications , assessing change , create excel documents such as trackers and spreadsheets to further deepen our understanding of works and related cost.
I have developed new skills including on excel , as well as direct QS tasks such as formal clauses , assessing change and minimising cost.
A large majority of the time , work is enjoyable as no two days are the same within construction.
The support from Balfour Beatty is strong , with a Early Careers team ready to assist whenever needed.
