I started doing basic things like PDI and maintainence, but now they treat me like any other tech and do quite a lot of different jobs except diagnostic as I am not confident with it.
A lot of skils, from using torque rench and spanners, rachets..... and learning how to work on tight spaces, and also a lot of knowledge on vehicles
I love this trade and I really enjoy working on Pentagon Ford and the skillnet program
It was badly organaised at the beginning with Remit, but since we done the change to Skillnet has been very organised.
A lot, the workshop controller help me out in everything he can and give me challenging jobs whenever he can, so I can learn more
Since I am with Skillnet im reciving quite a lot of support with my personal tutor as well as with all the other teachers at the VCT and at the Henry Ford Academy.
We are just starting, so everything is really basic at the moment but I am still learning a lot of things.
