1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As a Store apprentice at Aldi I replenish the shelves, serve customers, I check dates on products.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

As an apprentice at Aldi I have learned to prioritise workload. I have also gained skills in people management and customer control.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I think the programme is enjoyable and is developing me as a person and I enjoy the work life balance

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme I am on is well structured and I know at all times what I am doing and what I should be striving for.

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

As an Apprentice at Ald I am able to receive support from the people I work with that helps me develop.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

If I struggle with coursework on my way to my qualification I know I can speak to a member of management for help and support.

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think the qualification gives a deeper understanding of my role and the tasks and responsibilities I have.

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

At Aldi there is a company wide football cup for workers to partake in.

Yes

I would recommend aldi to a friend as it is an enjoyable place to work with a good worklife balance where you feel valued as a worker.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Aldi?

That learning the store and the products and their locations will massively increase their efficiency, and that there would always be someone there to help them.
