I really enjoy the programme I am always learning new things as well as being challenged but there is never too much burden. The work to life balance is really good. Everyone at work is really friendly and helpful.
Programme is really well structured with university blocks as well as working off the job to build other skills.
There is a lot of support from the employer not just for work related issues as well as for any personal issues and mental health issues. There is also physical support available such as physio therapy.
There is a lot of support, time is allocated for us to do my university assignments. Work deadlines are based on our university deadlines to ensure we get enough time to complete.
The qualifications give me a better understanding of the role I am in as well as the overall industry.
Yes there are always opportunities such as social events at Christmas times as well as professional networking events which have really helped me build up my networking skills.
Yes
Brilliant company to work for as well providing a positive change to the UK. The movement towards net-zero is something that I love being a part off. The support at national grid is brilliant for any personal or work related issues as well diversity equity and inclusion.
Be confident, learn about the electricity industry before the interview.
