  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I find it very enjoyable as my work is challenging but with support always available. The people here are all great, and I get the chance to be involved with building things which I have always enjoyed.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The program is well structured on the work side of things, however the interaction between the work and university could be improved a lot. Many topics are covered more than once by both sides so you end up being given the same information half a dozen times occasionally. Also the instruction on how to complete all the apprenticeship standards and logging is not covered very well and is still difficult to understand.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • So far it hasn't been much help as the content is quite general and related to a different section of the construction industry to what I am doing at work. I think this will improve as the modules become more specialised.
