  • My role is to complete maintenance jobs to ensure the work place is up to standard when issues occur

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes I have been able to learn new skills within the mechanical industry such as pipe fitting and sorting out leaks. Also have learnt to try and work independently.

  • I enjoy my programme as it helps to benefit my future and everyone at work makes me feel comfortable and welcome

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Whenever there are any problems or issues at work they will try to be sorted as soon as possible but sometimes may be delayed, but apart from that there isn’t much negatives about organisation .

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive minimal support from my employer/line manager but there are other people around who I can speak to to be reassured and given the support needed

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive a good amount of support as my college lecturer will always tell me where I’ve gone wrong and tell me how I can improve on my work

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Because if I am struggling at work and don’t remember what to do, I can always look back and reflect on my college work to help myself build more confident for next time

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Every year the company have celebrations to appreciate everyone’s hard work at CBRE and also try to organise sport activities such as charity football matches to have everyone take part and build a strong relationship

  • 9a. Would you recommend CBRE to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because I believe that CBRE is a good company to work for, not just for the money but due to the fact that everybody here has a very good relationship and I believe it’s what encourages people to get up and go to work in the morning.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CBRE?
  • If you end up working for CBRE, no matter what sight ur placed at just go in as yourself and give people a chance to see your personality because as much as working hard you can always make it more fun by being sociable.
