IT support for Pearson's applications and websites. Dealing with both customer and developer to fix issues and changes being made to applications running business websites and portals.
I've learnt loads of new skills as i had never done an IT or even a Office based job before.
I'm enjoying the program thoroughly.
The program is structured fairly well, Spending one whole day a week makes more sense then a small bit everyday. I also feel like the work is well spaced out and i don't feel like i have to rush to complete assignments.
Loads, As much as i need and ask for.
So far it has been fairly good. My trainer has been very responsive to my questions and has supported me when making decisions or looking for advice.
So far i feel like the qualification has taught me a lot of underlying basics to the job and that these have helped me understand some more complex tasks i have performed in my role.
There seem to be a few social activities and professional networking events but i would like more
Yes
I believe that Pearson foster a welcoming and friendly environment to both learn and work. I myself was encouraged by a friend to apply for this apprenticeship and so i would do the same.
Its best to just jump in and enjoy it. There are loads of fun and knowledgeable people who work for Pearson. Ask question and make notes!
