  • I am in accounts receivable on credit control team and I deal with my own ledger where I chase customers for overdue invoices in the attempt to receive payments. I also match remittance advises to payments to align payments with invoices.

  • Communication with finance an non-finance stakeholders. The ability to use different software's within the business. Ability to navigate and utilise Excel.

  • I enjoy it thoroughly and I am gaining many new skills and experiences.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very structured. It is a 9-month rotation plan for the two different finance departments within the business with structured shadowing and training.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Endless support, whenever I have queries or am struggling, I always have my managers to rely on as well as my collegues.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Good amount. I have been supported thoroughly throughout my resit exam and always have somone to discuss my studies with whenever I need help.

  • A lot. My studying directly links with a lot of my day to day tasks and my overall position within the business.
