My role at Care2care involves overseeing the day-to-day operation and management of the senior team, ensuring any issues are dealt with efficiently, my team have a healthy work/life balance and all operational requirements are compliant and within our governing bodies expectations.
Since starting my apprenticeship my skills as a leader have developed greatly. I have learnt numerous skills and techniques to apply to my role and have now implemented many of these to improve overall such as the use of emotional intelligence.
I really enjoy the programme and any part i have struggled with. my tutor has ensured i'm doing what i need to be and encouraging me throughout.
At first i struggled to understand the portal and felt i needed a lot of support however the more i use it, the easier the documentation and expectation from each assignment becomes.
My employer is very supportive with the requirements of the course.
My tutor has been exceptional throughout and has supported me whenever required.
As explained above, i feel i can now confidently apply many theories and new learnt skills to my role, improving my management techniques and the overall productivity of my team.
Yes we have many options here such as regular PT sessions, Perkbox which give the opportunity to explore help with wellbeing ect.

I have been supported throughout and really feel that i have not only improved my management techniques but also things at home, like being a mum for example.
Go for it and keep in regular contact with your tutor as they are there to help and are more than willing to support when needed in my experience.
