I was working on audit procedures throughout my placement. This meant completing audit testing, having calls with client or emailing them on queries. I was also on calls with my team for catch-ups and coaching.
I learnt new audit procedures and improved my Excel skills. Improved communication skills with client
I enjoy the experience working in audit. It was busy but the challenge made it fun.
Had an admin day before starting work but no formal first day in office induction. But overall structure of the programme is well organised.
My team was very willing to coach me. It was just that sometimes they had more pressing concerns so my coaching sessions had to be moved back
They teach the things required for the exams and are willing to answer any questions.
Better understanding of audit areas and accounting policies
Yes but couldn't attend any as they were when I was not in the office
Yes
It provided a structured and welcoming environment to learn audit
Ask lots of questions
