I have learned there is more to management than being a leader. there are may layers to a good manager and have learned to look deeper to find my style
The program as a whole was really enjoyable thanks to the coaches I had. They really pushed me to look deeper not only inwards but reassured me that pushing the envelope was something to be proud of.
Joining the program during a pandemic was not ideal and the whole structure changed overnight. Thankfully the coaches managed to adapt not only to my needs but the needs of the program to ensure it was delivered to the learner.
My line managers have been very supportive and allowed me time out of my day/week depending on workload.
We had catch up calls on a regular basis to discuss progress. Calls could be scheduled in at late notice as & when needed for help assistance with topics that are more difficult to grasp.
I have learnt that there is a lot to look out for when you are managing a team that I was not aware of prior to this learning. The way we interact within people, teams and organisations need to be balanced in a way that allow growth for everyone.

Although the company is focused on the building trade, the support functions are a great place to work. Should you wish to learn develop and grow then support is there to get you moving in the right direction.
If you are looking for a competitive wage then this is not the place for you, If you want to be able to grow as a person with learning opportunities then this is the place to be. Great people
