Looking after clients on a day to day basis, meeting their demands and needs and placing their Aviation Insurance for them by reaching out to Insurers for the coverage. I also manage projects within the team for different platforms we place business on.
My team work and independence skills have definitely developed since joining WTW, I have learnt how to manage my time appropriately and keep organised with a strong work life balance.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the programme I have joined onto as it allows me to learn on the job topics which I reference to within my role daily.
I would say there is a solid structure to the programme in that I am allocated a tutor to reach out to and they are aware of when I need to meet deadlines but ensuring this aligns with my workload outside of the apprenticeship.
I have always received the support needed from my employer, being given time off each week for set studying time and ensuring they do not overload me with work whilst considering the apprenticeship work I also have ongoing. Being there for any questions or concerns I may have had.
The Growth Company were particularly supportive towards the end of my timeline when I was reaching gateway in that [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] my tutor would set up weekly check ins and constantly keep in communication to ensure I was on track but also ask if I needed any further resources.
This has enabled me to learn different skills and knowledge in areas I may not have accessed should I not have gone through the qualification, I have learnt how to manage my time effectively and use initiative in situations where I thought I may not meet deadlines on work.
We have different platforms such as the Young Persons Network, each month a colleague is matched with another in WTW for a coffee randomiser allowing me to connect with those outside of my team. A lot of professional networking events as well including socials and CII planned events.

Strong positive community, good work ethic and flexible to suit your work style. Feel of being valued within the company in the little time I have been here.
Be yourself, have confidence in who you are and ask questions. Research WTW prior to interviews to give yourself the background knowledge before entering any professional environment.
