Placement Support, aiding brokers in reinsurance placements. Includes areas such as sanctions checking, preparing key documents, security reviews of underwriters, discussions with clients and underwriters, etc.
For sure. I have vastly improved my communication skills, and adapting my communication skills to meet my target audience. I also have improved massively on my ability to work under pressure.
Very much so, the difference in tasks kept things fresh and engaging while also being challenging.
Occasional misunderstanding of what i needed to do/what was due but this was managed by good organisation.
Adequate support. Hard for line managers and other senior staff when they have their own roles and jobs to do.
Very good support, advisors and helped when I needed it, pointing me to useful resources and keeping me in check and line with requirements
Broader understanding of insurance, somewhat specific to my role, but definitely makes me more confident when speaking to others about specialised reinsurance terms.
