Maintaining health and wellbeing of nursery aged children, to plan and support the educational development of children. To create welcoming and simulating environments which children feel safe and secure in whilst leading their own play ideas. Supporting a teaching assistant to be a play buddy and developing their CPD. Complying with the schools health and safety. Talking with parents and other professionals on a daily basis.
Yes, I've developed my understanding of theorist attached to childcare and how these theories impact both the classroom and the pedagogy that goes into teaching.
Very much! This has been a well managed course, it has allowed me to maintain a work life balance. It offers challenges, as well as reenforcing previous knowledge.

Being the first apprentice into the school hasn't;t been without a few bumps in the road, but the course providers have given support to help my employers understand what their role is to support me in achieving the most out of the course.

The school is a relaxed environment that promotes growth for the employees. The school supports staff to develop themselves, they allow time for this to happen and make arrangements to ensure your giving tools and real life experiences to put their new skills to the test
