Tree, pond, dormouse, bee, reptile and birds nest surveys. Handling datasets eg traffic data in excel. Filling in REIAs. Attending sustainability training
Professional skills such as time management, work presentation, as well as practical skills like learning to identify wildlife and look to provide solutions for problem areas
Met so many great people, learnt a lot, and loved being outside so much. Really like the idea of being a part of a bigger team working to help the environment and wildlife. Has given me an idea for future careers
Always had things to do and places to be. Relevant work that was a good introduction to the work, leaving me wanting to work there for longer.
Not there for long enough to know loads, but got a sense of a good community that’s friendly and willing to help. Regular updates, news, posts and social ideas.

Yes
Being invited along to meetings, discussions and assessments every day meant I quickly met the whole environment and sustainability team, whilst going to several offices allowed me to meet lots of other people outside that team!
Yes
Overall a really useful and positive experience, I can’t see how it could be improved much more.
