A normal day in wolseley involves Serving customers & dealing with their queries, Making up customers orders for delivery the following day, Booking in the goods delivered to us by various couriers, replenishing and restocking the shelves of any products that are running low at the counter, Completing tasks efficiently and taking initiative.
I've learned how to respond to customers queries and requests efficiently and affectively to assure customer satisfaction. I've also learned a lot about the plumbing/engineering business by communicating daily with tradesmen. I've learned how to work well in a team and help colleagues when necessary, I've also developed my confidence and communication skills.
I very much enjoy my programme and all the support I've received throughout my apprentice by my manager and work colleagues. I get along with my team and I know regular customers on a first name basis which makes my job a lot easier, I also appreciate the healthy routine my role gives me.
My programme is very well structured as I'm informed of everything I'm required to know and I'm updated with anything new that comes up.
I receive a lot of support from my employer on a regular basis, any questions or queries I may have about anything my role includes are answered and solved to better help me understand anything I may be struggling with. I appreciate the support I have received so far in my programme.
I receive a lot of support from my training provider also, the provider is very attentive to anything I may need to help me towards my qualification.
My qualification gives me the skills and experience to perform at the best of my ability in my role.

Some advice I would give to somebody applying to Wolseley would be to try your best to pick up the day to day requirements involved with the role to make life easier and to ask any questions big or small to save any confusion as a new profession can be tricky to figure out at first but when you are comfortable you are the most confident you can be in a role.
