  • My role on a day-to-day basis is to care and educate children between the ages of 0-5 years to get them ready for school and provide them with the skills they need to do this.

  • I have learnt how to be patient and also how to stay organised as this is key to maintaining the routine within the room

  • I enjoy it as the opportunities given to me help me to grow and develop but also gain a lot more knowledge on the children I work with and how best to care and provide for them

  • It is very well organised and the structure of it helps me to keep organised and reach targets on time. The tasks they set me helps me as they structure them to give us enough time to complete them but also to give us an insight of how this is helping us throughout our apprenticeship

  • I receive a lot of support as whenever I have any questions they are also sure to answer them to the best of their ability to help me feel more confident with the topic

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive a lot of support as they are always on hand to give me advice when it is needed but also if I have any questions they are also able to answer them completely and boost my confidence within that topic as well as providing me with extra training outside of work to help me gain a better understanding and work through things at my own pace

  • I am not sure

  • We have lots of opportunities to grow and develop such as team meetings, team training days and also access to websites to help us learn more about policies when working with children at our own pace and choice
