Interacting and supervising children. Encouraging learning and development. Safeguarding. Following EYFS. Role modelling. Interacting with parents. Reporting concerns and issues. Cleaning and maintining hygenic standards within the nursery. Leading, planning and setting up activities. Outdoor supervision. Completing observations for parents. Signing children in and out.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt lots of new skills and developed my learning and skills for working within the childcare industry. For example I have a good amount of knowledge on safeguarding within the nursery and who I can and should report my concerns to.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme as everyone is so welcoming and encouraging and they really want to see me achieve my fullest potential and always help me if I need it.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is very well organised and structured as I am given time out during working hours to complete my coursework if I fall slightly behind and I am given support throughout the nursery by other members of staff. We also have daily routines which are followed accordingly.

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

I recieve lots of support as my learning and CPD is always encouraged. The management really take the time to listen to concerns or if anything could be improved, or what would make me feel more comfortable within the workplace.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I recieve lots of support as I can email her at any given time if I am unsure about a task which has been set, she is also super helpful during 1-2-1s and encourages hearing about my development and highlights areas for me to improve.

Very confident as I have been given a magnitude of resources which I can access at any point in the day and can use.

Yes, there are webinars, staff outings, staff meetings and online courses where we can bond together and learn together which in turn helps us work better together.

This company has been so welcoming and encouraging and each day I am pushed to achieve my best potential. Also they really take the time to listen and get to know you and help you if you're struggling or unsure.

All the work you put in is worth it and see that it is worth it every day within your practice.
