As a care coordinator my job is very similar to the branch manager. I am line manager to all care staff, audits, safeguardings, training, rotas, interviews, supervisions/appraisals, team meetings.
Yes, I developed my management skills
I enjoy it as this is allowing me to progress in my career and I have learnt a lot about legislation and management skills.
I have not been going it for long, but the system is good and I have regular meetings with my assessor.
I am given one day off a week to study
I receive good advise and guidance and research documents to assist with assignments
