i am a room leader of the toddler room in my setting, my role is to welcome the children in to the setting, speaking to parents and carers and getting any messages looking after and safeguarding the children . i am also responsible for the welfare of the staff.
I have developed my skills on how to manage a team and also how to deal with conflict with in the work environment
i really enjoy my program can be hard to find the time to always fit it in though
i haven't been enrolled long on my course but so far it seems very organised and structured
they are getting more supportive as i get more in to my course, they have given me time out each week to get some work done when they can and also given me a mentor to work along side me.
i get very good support from my TA i can always email her with any questions and she will always do her best to reply with any advice she can.
it is a very informative course so far and is always making me reflect on my role and how to implement things that i am learning in to my role and setting.
