carrying out personal care routines, following policies and procedures, cleaning up any mess, I interact with lots of different parents, i am responsible for caring for and observing and planning activities for groups of children so that they reach their potential. I have to make written observations and write forms and keep note of what personal care routines i do. with my apprentice ship i have to use this to expandmy knowledge and i am learning lots of new things everyday.
I have learnt lots of new skills for example I have learnt the meaning behind why we do lots of different things and i have learnt why we have the policies and laws in place and i have developed my computer skills and personal skills as i have became more confident using technology and in myself.
I enjoy this programme very much as i feel it is the right way for me to work as it has some written work and some practical work aspects so i can put all the knowledge i am getting to use and ask questions to the people who have experience while i am also gaining experience.
it is very well organised as i can access it easily and i feel as tho i understand what i have set to do and why it is structured that way.
my employer helps me a bit as they give me the time i need out of the room to do the apprenticeship work and i am helped in the room by helping me to learn the different paper work that need to be done and how to carry out the physical care routines appropriately.
I receive lots of support from my training provider as i know if i ever need help i can easily contact them and they set the work and word it in ways that i understand. they are very helpful and nice and seem like they genuinely do care about you.
I think this helps me by making me have a better understanding of what my job role entails it also helps me to understand why i have certain things in my job role and it helps me to get a better understanding of the thoughts behind why we have things in place.
no there isn't any extra curricular activities.
Yes
as i feel as tho they are a good nursery .
just try your best and try and reach your potential
