  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt lots about coaching and how coaching works, which models are good for different situations and I have also learnt a lot about money and pensions and debt advice and guidance.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I'm really enjoying it - I am learning a lot that will help me in my current role and will also help me develop personally and progress within my career too.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is structured well. The workshops are very good, but don't always match what you're asked in the consolidation for each unit, which is annoying, but just means I have to spend more time doing my own reading and research.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I get support in that I am left alone to get on with my work and am able to attend workshops with no issues, and L&D have helped me source another coachee which is great, but my immediate manager has no clue what I am doing really.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I get support via the workshops, and my personal Tutor is on hand to answer questions via Bud or email when needed, but she has had little input so far. I have just cracked on and ask for help when needed.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I coach people on a daily basis with life and work skills, so there are always opportunities to use the skills learned. It has also been good for me to learn more about myself too.

    9/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are lots of different webinars you can join, such as Lunch and Learn talks about various subjects and the Leadership Big Conversations, which are a great way to develop leadership skills and share ideas with colleagues. My role is remote, so it is all online.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Reed in Partnership to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • The company is putting a lot of work into being a great place to work which is noticeable and I feel valued within my role and in my team and I get paid well for what I do.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Reed in Partnership?
  • Be prepared to be accountable, often self-manage, be prepared to work hard and avoid office politics. You can still be a team player without getting involved in office politics.
