Recently promoted from a residential peripatetic manager to the role of project area manager. Within my role i have been supporting with the decommissioning of service, rolling out new software programmes and supporting migration of systems into a new service added to our portfolio of homes.
Have been undertaking self reflection and looking closely at a personal development plan. Very early days in the role and within the apprenticeship. Looking forward to my first workshop.
I am really enjoying the programme, i have been well supported my by tutor to resolve some early teething problems. Such as workshops not being attended and cancelled by the tutor last minute. My first workshop has been cancelled 3 times.
Tutor has been great - Only let done has been the poor management of the training workshops and these not been delivered at the times they have been scheduled.
Very supported - All reviews requested for my personal development pack has been completed timely. Support the sign up process. line manager provides monthly review meeting to discuss my progression and any additional support that maybe required. Study days also granted.
Course tutor very good and supportive - always follows through on action points following our review meetings and responds to message communications submitted on BUD platform promptly.
Very well - reflecting on own practice to create a personal development plan of future progression. Identifying my strengths and weakness and creating smart action plans. Using my new knowledge and skills on communication to effectively lead a meeting with SLT members
I Currently play netball in a social league to which my organisation sponsors.
