  • I find some apprenticeship tasks interesting

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The setting and submission of work is well organised through BUD, but I find that some tasks are not set out clearly - sometimes information is spread out in different places, and you have to look on different pages or click on different links. I think this is because tasks are sometimes created from older tasks and modified.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My colleagues are able to help when I require support for different tasks There isn't much wider support/networking opportunities for the other apprentices at my workplace.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My trainer is helpful and quick to respond to emails. He calls when tasks are set to ensure I understand them.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Gained a better understanding of business, finance and the workplace. Encouraged me to think about business with a newer, wider approach that I was not aware of before. Unfortunately some aspects of the course aren't as relevant for my specific job.

  • yes - networking groups/cafes, but unfortunately these do not apply to me/my interests

  • Good support for disabilities, good structures in place for support, employees are looked after, stable job

  • Make sure you apply carefully, using the job description to help to ensure you get an interview
