i am supposed to help other staff do their work and make things easier for them while also entertain the children. I am also doing nappies, and making sure the nursery is also clean.
i have learned to be more independent and also have more courage when making new ideas for the children to have a more exciting play
i love working with children watching them grow as well as their mind growing for their age.
working in the nursery is as organized as it could be, it has all the things it may need for children to join and for new apprentices to learn.
I receive quite a bit of support from the other employers, if I need help they are there to give me the help I need.
my training provider gives me loads of help where I need the help. if I don't understand something they give me more things to help me.
since starting the apprenticeship I have noticed I have been working more efficiently than when I started working, I have become more reliable in coming into work and getting stuff done.
at my place of work there are loads of team bonding activities to do outside of work that the managers put together for us, we all then have fun outside of work and it helps us work better together at work.
Yes
because it is a great place to get everyone to feel confident, everyone in the place makes you feel welcome and a part of the team.
make sure you understand the rules of working with children and if you get stuck always ask for help or advice
