My role consists of: - Creating a safe and stimulating environment for children - Observing and assessing children - Supporting learning and development - Safeguarding children - Communicating with parents about children in our care - Providing personal care e.g. nappy changing, support with potty training
I have had the opportunity to further develop my teamwork skills by liaising with other members of staff to support the learning of the children at the nursery. I have also developed communication skills through speaking to parents and other members of staff and my confidence skills.
So far I am enjoying my programme and look forward to learning more as the course goes on.
