My role at Katmex is a planning production apprentice and my responsibilities are: Production planning, imputing data into the system so the factory can run, ordering steel for the company, keeping on top of stock, adding orders on the system and keeping on top of customer schedules. I also make sure all our systems and files are up to date checking every day, I update our Daily Schedule Analysis to make sure that we know how many orders are left from our target. And make sure orders are being created for both our Stockton and Seaham sites
I have learned about organisational structure, how to develop a high performing team, about pestle analysis, collaborative working techniques, external factors influencing organisations
