I work with the Home Office of the Civil Service and we deal with issues relating to immigration crime. Daily we will work on stopping illegal immigration, tackling illegal working and those who are in the country with no legal right to remain. I am currently working on two projects, one working with a external stakeholder relating to translation contract.
I am developing skills in project working and how to communicate effectively with other members of my team and those in the wider workplace.
I am enjoying the programme, however I feel it could be better structured in terms of how the tasks are worded
I like the interaction with my coach, she is helpful and knowledgeable, however as said, I feel the tasks and the way they are worded could be improved
Lost of support from my employer, I am given plenty of time to complete the work necessary for the course
Lots, they are always available at the end of an email if needed and will make lots of time to fit in catch up throughout if needed.
I think all further learning helps in, not only our day to day role, but in general - There is always something else to learn!
Yes, there are lots of clubs, days out and activities set up directly through the Civil Service and also through the Civil Service social clubs
