  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Working in partnership with a big four supermarket as undercover store detective. My role is to ensure the safety of customers, clients and colleagues within the store I am working that day. The key part I play is to detect shoplifters or any person committing an act that causes loss to the clients business. Whilst keeping all parties safe I will attempt to detain the offenders, recover property and seek criminal convictions if necessary.

  • During my apprenticeship I learnt new techiques on how to manage my time more effectively and prioritise tasks. I also learnt about learning styles and how adapt the way I deliver information when I am delivering training programmes.

  • I enjoyed the programme as it was very easy to understand and the team delivering the course were approachable and engaging.

  • The course was structured very well, with deadlines clearly set and very flexible. All information was contained within the course to make me feel confident to take the epa

  • Hardly any support given by my employer, only spoke to my work sponsor twice and haven't heard from them since.

  • The support from my training provider was excellent. The delivery was flexible and very clear to understand. She was absolutely fantastic, very informative and encouraging

  • Given the opportunity by my employer I believe I could be a real asset but I don't think my employer recognises this
