I used plain-clothed covert surveillance to detect and detained shop thieves. Liaising with staff, managers and police, writing statements, recording CCTV evidence and protecting colleagues and customers from antisocial behaviour, abuse and violence.
I have learnt different communication styles, how to motivate and converse with different personality types, and how to better organise my day with time management skills.
It has been a very enjoyable experience. My coach is friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. Also my colleague who runs the workshops is very good at keeping people engaged and making the content interesting.
Has been structured well, a good mixture of classroom workshops, online Teams conferences and at home study tasks.
Mitie have provided me with all the support that I need. My sponsor checks in with me regularly, as does my line manager.
I have received lots of support from my coach whenever I need it. She replies quickly to queries, and brings an energy and enthusiasm to the course.
It has provided me with new ways of looking at aspects of my work, and given me insights into how to improve in all areas.
There isn't a great deal of extra-curricular events, apart from the ones me and my colleagues organise ourselves.
Yes
Good company to work for, lots of development and progression opportunities, friendly and supportive team of people and well paid.
Work hard and you will receive recognition and opportunities.
