  • Providing compassionate support and empowerment to those in our care. This includes assisting with personal care, meal times, and medication, while also offering emotional and social support, such as accompanying residents on community outings.

  • I have recently enhanced my active listening skills to better understand the needs of those we support and to help de-escalate and manage behaviours effectively. Additionally, I have gained experience in care documentation using new electronic devices, allowing for accurate, real-time updates on the go.

  • I enjoy my programme quite well as I am able to learn skills that help me make progress in my role

  • The programme is organised and structured in a way to ensure comprehensive support and development . The guidelines are clear and the regular assessments reinforce best practices. The schedule also works well to allow flexibility in getting things done
