Running the store, cash handling, key holding responsibilities. Working stock, customer service. Keeping the store legal and ensuring all safety measures are ashered to.
Development of delegation skills, with feedback and follow up. Training of new colleagues, finding the best way of learning/teacher.
I really enjoyed using the apprenticeship as an opportunity to dig dipper and learn things about the company and retail as a whole. I found this very useful and was able to use this knowledge in my day to day work.
My trainer was amazing, and very knowledgeable. The programme was quite varied, and sometimes asked for information that I would not have access to.
This was more difficult to achieve. As Store Managers didn't value the apprenticeship and would not give me the time to complete. A lot of the work was completed in my own time.
My trainer was amazing. She was always available to talk to and I found this a great help
I feel it gave me more confidence and knowledge to perform my role to a higher standard.
