  • I help prep and cook food in a secondary school kitchen. I also ensure cleanliness and organisation to keep food and hygiene standards within the kitchen.

  • Before joining my work , I had no previous experience in a kitchen , Everything involved in the kitchen was a new learnt skill.

  • I really enjoy working in a kitchen , learning new skills and having new experiences in cooking.

  • The programme is set in a well organised manor with all times and instructions clear.

  • My employers have been great at supporting me , I have frequent conversations about my progress and what I can do better.

  • My training provider has been great so far , always available for me when I needed support.

  • As my qualification has not fully started yet , I find that it has not yet supported my job role.

  • There are plenty of functions and events at work that I have been taking a part of since I started work here. They are a great opportunity to learn from and network with other people from around the company

  • The company gave me my start in work , and have since made a great effort towards my development, it has been a great experience.

  • You’ll get as much as you put in. Make an effort and the people here will recognise and make an effort in you.
