I manage a team of around 80 employees and on day to day I need to ensure they are compliant with H&S, delivering a service to a good standard. Also, ensure they being paid correctly.
Since I complete my apprenticeship I became a better manager and able to put some plans in action. Delegating tasks and helping to develop the team.
With the knowledge gained I was able to attend specific meeting, talk the stakeholders and be involved in more projects.
I had a change of coach and I believe that working with I had a better support. Also, was awesome supporting with maths.
My employer and management team were 100% with me since the beginning. I had all the supported that I needed. Specially from my line Manager.
Again, I can confirm I had 100% of support from the team at Learnmore.
I have received all the theory and now I need to put it in practice. It helped to build my confidence and I feel prepared for new challenges.
We attend some professional networking events. I believe we could do it more often.

Mitie is a company that gives opportunity to the employee. I started my journey within Mitie 9 years ago working 2.5 hours a day as a cleaning operative. Today I manage a big team. The culture, values and diversity are great at Mitie
Work hard and demonstrate interest to develop your skills. Be honest to your management team and ask for help when required.
