To control and justify the funds for my department and deal with engineers on a day to day basis. Monthly spend is analysed and justifications provided for under or overspend from the heads of department
I have developed my computer literacy skills and learnt many new skills using programs and databases I have previously never used or had little experience using
I find my job interesting and I enjoy the fact that the role changes around each year. I would like to work in different areas of the company and gain as much of an understanding as possible. I enjoy physically meeting with and dealing with the engineers and getting further detail on the projects I work on
I have been given a lot of help whilst working here and feel like the people I work with go out of their way to offer assistance and value me as a colleague
The programme offered a lot of information at the start and there were plenty of courses to attend. The job role was difficult to grasp but the training courses and help from colleagues made sure every question was answered. Having current PCFS students talking to us gave the structure a more personal relatable feel
I have received help whenever I have needed it and the course leaders are always on hand to answer any queries I may have. They are very easy to talk to
Due to the recent structural change around there has been a lot of changes in my office and a change of executives and line manager has meant things have changed around for me recently. Overall everybody has been accomodating and offered support when needed.
I have taken a slight pay cut but overall feel that the prospects are great and the salary increases will eventually counter any losses I started with
There are a number of charity opportunities I am hoping to get involved with such as bike rides and walks. I haven't explored any further opportunities outside of work but feel if I was to there would be plenty on offer
Yes
THey look after employees and the course prospects and future at the company offers brilliant opportunities. I have already recommended the course to family and friends
Apply and read up on the company. It is a rare opportunity that offers a great future and a degree without having to incur student loan costs. The company is great to work for and everybody is friendly
