    • I have learned a lot of new skills in regards to electrical maintenance and installation

    • I have enjoyed the apprenticeship experience

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

    • there are some aspects which are very organised and some areas that are not so organised. However this year the company has taken on almost 300 apprentices so this is to be expected.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

    • support is great from training managers and line manager. Also experienced engineers often come in to help out which is brilliant

    • a good amount of support

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

    • I believe a lot will help, some modules in our qualification would not be needed but it is still good to learn.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

    • not that I am aware of, however as the electrical maintenance team are close we have socialised outside of work .

    • Yes

    • because it is a organisation which offers a stable and rewarding career. progression opportunities with great benefits

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to AWE?

    • My advice would be to take the apprenticeship seriously & pay attention to senior members of staff as they are always happy to help.
