  • Patrolling, incident report, access control, emergency report and property protection. The day-to-day activities involves the patrolling of site to make sure there are no breaches and security threats. The use of CCTV to monitor the site and barriers to control access. Responding to emergences such as fire, theft and security breaches.

  • Communication skills which helps me in building relationship with colleagues and confidence in my abilities.

  • I really enjoy my functional skill and I see myself committing more to it. If my commitment is genuine, then my aim will be achieved.

  • The intent and goals of the programme are clear. The only issues is group discussion among colleagues is not great. Group discussion helps to identify common goals and problems faced by everyone.

  • They try as much as possible to create time for me to attend teams meeting, do off the job training and put new skills into practice.

  • They are making am learning the right skill towards my career development. More time and different task given to help towards achieving my qualification.

  • This has boost my self-esteem. Improve my communication skills to be better at problem solving.

  • The way my shift pattern works has not really given me a chance to be involved in extra-curricular activities at work.
