Given tasks to complete to expected standards. Taught techniques and methods of materials, tools and equipment we use.
Learn something new after every new task completion. There is endless ways to learn, to better improve your knowledge and grow further. Thus apprenticeship is great for learning new skills.
I enjoy the challenges and learning everyday, there's always something new to do so you don't get bored easily.
You are have assessors to hep with your learning, points of contact for assistance in everything you may need, you know where to go for everything.
Endless, any learning difficulties, areas of struggle or if you're having a bad day, they have a support system for every need you have, excellent support system.
Good basic learning and teaching when working towards qualifications.
It helps me get to grip basic knowledge of areas I need to know to help me better perform. earning maths outside of the wrokshop allows me to progress quicker as learning two things at once.
There are some social activities I've seen, but I am not aware of most of them. Lots of professional networking events.
