  • My Role is Passenger Host I was not able to find transport as a job option. I go on trains and check for ticket issues and offer customer service as well and issue penalty fares and MG's. We also go to revenue excises at different stations.

  • I have only just started the course but so far it seems like it will be very beneficial for me and will help me progress within my company

  • I have only just started but so far it has been very good and my mentor from learnmore is great

  • So far it has been very organised and very well structured

  • I have only just started but so far I have received some support but would like more opportunities for off the job learning

  • They offer for of support as well aw reassurance that if you have any questions you can just contact them

  • I have only just started so have not had an opportunity to use much from the course yet but I'm sure it will be a positive and there will be things I can use within my job role

  • Not really i meet up with my friends and colleagues from work but not extra curricular

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because the railway is a very stable job with a good pension


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Govia Thameslink Railway?
  • Just come to work on time. Safety is very important on the railway yours and the passengers so always be vigilant and aware of your surroundings.
