Involved in Audit of Bidcorp. This involved completing EGAs, contacting clients for information and attending daily team meetings.
Became much more confident and able with the PWC systems such as Aura and Connect. Also ability with Excel has improved a lot. Also professional behaviour and ability to carry myself in a professional environment has improved a lot.
I have enjoyed the new experience of working in a corporate environment within a team. I have enjoyed getting to know the people in the office who i have worked with. Everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful with any issues/ questions i have had.
Very well organised, from the start with collecting our technology and expensing transport to the connected development and joining our audit team. It all works really well and really helps the transition of joining the team and understanding how everything works.
I think i learnt a lot about the culture. From the start its obvious there is a good culture within the company and is clear that working here would be pleasant experience.
Its hard to say with the work experience only being a relatively short amount of time in the office, everything still feels reasonably new even at the end of the placement. Therefore i think its hard to say how it made me fee about the future.
yes
Yes, with socials and the open design of the office.
Yes
The supportive and friendly culture within the company. How having commitments outside of work are respected and accepted. The interactions with people off more experience means great opportunity to learn and grow. Also in general the size and opportunities within the company are great.
To have a genuine interest of the business and how things work, have a questioning mindset and a desire to learn. Definitely do some research become familiar and comfortable with the culture and ethos of the company.
