My social skills and confidence has risen dramatically, organisational and time management skills has also developed a large amount.
Although I found myself overwhelmed occasionally I enjoyed my programme immensely, my team and mentor supported me all the way through.
Although there were a few webinars and the odd piece pushed back, I found my programme well structured as they always gave me as much notice to allow me to plan for the future
I received a large amount of support from my boss as well as my colleagues (including other stores) they have always given me more than enough time for each piece and allowed me to really focus on all of my pieces to the best of my ability.
My training provider supported me a large amount, due to various health and personal issues that I had during the course as well as general issues that arose in regards to the coursework/ technical issues.
This qualification has allowed me to develop my confidence as well as my interpersonal skills.
Although there are no specific extra-curricular activities, we have a yearly night out to celebrate the year, go bowling and have a meal too. I often find myself mingling with colleagues of another store while out.
Yes
It wasn't what I expected it to be, it was so much better! Its allowed to develop and feel welcome and comfortable being myself.
Just be yourself, you'll find that there is no need to hide behind a facade or falseness. Just be yourself and if/when you get in, you'll find that you fit in much easier.
