i assist the dentist, set up and down for treatments, i steralise the instruments, i also do the charting in the examinations
i learnt a lot of skills through the apprenticeship so far. when i started i knew nothing about dentistry, now i have learnt a lot about the structure of the tooth, different treatments, how to set up treatments
i enjoy it a lot, the tempdent team are really amazing. my assessor is really supportive and helpful
i think it’s well organised, at the start of the course you get a time table of all your webinars and what you will be covering in each one, and with every webinar you have recourses that help you to understand the things you have learnt

because its straight forward the people are nice, you get so much help and once you qualify there’s so much to do with your career the career progression in dentistry is amazing
find a practice close to home stay on top of your course work ! it will feel overwhelming at first but you will pick things up really easily don’t be afraid to try, get stuck in as much as you can try your best make sure you ask for help if you need it
