Building circuit boards and wiring assemblys to be fitted in to various aircraft components.
I have learnt a lot of new skills including, metal working, milling, turning, soldering and wiring.
I very much enjoyed my time at college learning new skills and making new friends. However when i returned to work after college i was still enjoying learning but the job i was doing was not what i was lead to believe it would be so this brought down how much i enjoyed it. I also like the choice of extracuricular activities i get the chance to do, for example i recently helped a primary school build an electric go-kart which i throughly engoyed
I know that i am a valued worker but it would be nice for a little more acknowledge meant that i am.
The course is very well organised however the structure of the course could do with being changed to make it more suitable to the people who are being hired that have different starting qualifactions.
the support varied depending on which instructor you had. So for some courses we were very well supported but in others not so much but overall fairly well supported.
There was a lot of support from my employer, there was always at least one person to talk to or help you out if you had a problem.
The salary meets all of my costs and the amount it goes up by at eaach 6 month review is helping me save more.
