i am an operations supervisor and this is a relatively new role to me i am learning the role and new experiences this is a big help doing this course as it is helping me deliver meetings team meetings and no processes. i am enjoying the new experiences and learning new tools to help me in my role.
i have really enjoyed the workshops and the calls with my learning mentor so this is helping me in my daily role. i take a lot of new knowledge away with me in particular about how i manage the engineers and they ways i deliver things to them including some of my engineers who are neurodiverse.
i really enjoy the workshops hearing other peoples points of view and experiences this helps me to look at certain things from a different point of view.
at first i found this all to be overwhelming but having had meetings and i have now got a little more structure and know where i need to improve. has been amazing through out this whole process and continues to support me.
My employer is very understanding in this role and course.
is amazing and has helped me with every bit anytime i have reached out to her she has been very prompt and helpful, having recently found out i have ADHD i reached out to kelly and her words and support has been above anything i could have asked for.
this is helping me develop the skills and knowledge i need to be a better manager and to never stop learning, it has helped me gain confidence to deliver team meetings and also recently a training course on emergency lighting to some new starter engineers.
we dont currently have any of these to attend but i will continue to look for these.
Yes
it is a very inclusive place to work with a good atmosphere i was an engineer for many years before i took an internal promotion and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here.
be honest and open and soak up as much knowledge as you can it is complex but interesting no two days are the same and the opportunity's and benefits are fantastic.
