I manage a total of 9 people. I manage the day to day operations of the building which covers the soft services and hard services. I also manage the finances on the site with regards to the PO's raised, P&L. I also managed the contractors and contracts all related to my site.
Yes I have learned alot, especially when it comes to contract renewals, managing the profit and lost system.
The best part of the apprenticeship is the workshop and it gets me thinking how i can apply what i've learnt to my current role.
Very well structured
I mean i just get on with my programme, my company gives me a dedicated study day, however it is difficult to always commit due to being the only manager on my account
A lot. My coach has gone above and beyond to help me get back on track with my assignment as I have fallen behind due to work commitments
It makes me think how can I apply what I have learnt in my job role.
there is always an opportunity to connect with other Mitie staff at other sites and in different roles.
Yes
For me Mitie have given me opportunities which I haven't had at other jobs/companies. I also like the fact that Mitie have given me opportunities in a role I didn't have experience in but saw my potential.
I would say the right job will come along eventually, even if you don't get the job you want 1st time around.
