My role involves working in all areas of a nursery following routine and proper procedures to ensure the children are well looked after and all care needs are met. This usually involves activities, play, meal prep, nappy changing safeguarding etc.
I have learnt a plethora of new skills involving childcare such as Interacting with children, working in partnership, working in a team, organisation skills and more.
I have enjoyed my apprenteship.
The program was very well structured and the format helped working alongside learning.
I felt very supported by my employer and felt as if i could rely and depend on them when needed or had any questions.
I had lots of support from my training provider during my apprenticeship, she was very helpful.
It helped me learn about different techniques and skills I can use in my role which I then incorporated into my practice.
No, however we have a yearly Christmas party.
Yes
Overall I would recommend to a friend as they have been great support during my learning and have been an amazing team all togethor.
I would advise anyone applying for an apprenteship to stay organised as it will help in the long run.
