My role is an orthotics clerk that has responsibilities of booking and cancelling appointments, ordering goods for patients and doing invoices. I also, deal with queries and complaints from patients and help out with any admin for orthotists.
I have developed my communication skills in written and verbal which has helped me improve in my role.
I enjoy the programme as it helps me with improving my skills and learning new skills along the way.
The programme is structured and organised well, I am well informed of any changes within the programme and the tutors organise the sessions well which has made me understand and helped me improve knowledge in the topics they teach
I receive a lot of support from my employer as they allow me, to use the skills and knowledge I have gained within the course and has helped me aswell, in guiding me to the right direction especially in learning.
The training provider has given me as much support as they can, they help with any queries regarding assignments and working towards my target.
The qualification makes me feel that I am improving in certain skills and have put my knowledge into my role which has made my experience and performance at work better.
Yes, there are social activities that happens at work such as staff dinners, shared-decision making panel and away days.
