  • My work experience involved shadowing and learning from Associates and Senior Associates. It involved attending meetings, being proactive and enthusiastic, while working on the planning and interim stages of audit and working on the PwC audit systems,

  • I learned resilience and patience, alongside professional maturity, communication, team work, time management.

  • 3. To what extent did you enjoy your work experience?
  • I had my ups and down but as the placement is coming to an end I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and I now view my lows during the placement as a learning experience and something that helped me mature.

  • 4. How well organised was your work experience?
  • It was very well organized initially and I was booked on jobs, but as weeks went by I had some issued with resourcing and being booked onto work which got things pretty disorganised.

  • 5. How much did you learn about the company culture and what it would be like to work there?
  • I think I gained a fair idea about company culture and it is very flexible and everyone is very understanding about personal issues which I am very grateful for.

  • It has given me an average insight into how I would want my future to look like but I do want to build on it by seeing if I can change my business unit and get more experience through PwC itself.

  • Yes there were ample opportunities to meet and network people, but I would have hoped to have our placement with other universities as well so as to network with other people our age and course from different universities.

  • Yes

  • It is a very well renowned firm, working with the people and diverse client is also a learning experience to not be missed.

  • To be confident and believe in your passion and accurately put forward your views and abilities and express yourself.
