My role involves designing and delivering leadership programmes for staff members in a healthcare setting, as well as managing two apprenticeships and supporting staff with their learning and development journey.
Yes, I've reflected on the importance of silence to allow others to think. I'm better at agreeing the next steps jointly and I feel more confident in asking effective questions.
I am enjoying the programme. It took me some time to get my head around it. However, my tutor [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] is very supportive and ensures I stay on track.
The modules are well structured on BUD. However, a starter pack with a rough timeline of the different activities would be beneficial. I.e., mapping workshops to modules on BUD and having a timeline for when to start our coaching practice.
My manager gives me the flexibility I need to complete my apprenticeship. It's an 8 rather than a 10 because I need to manage business needs and the demands of the apprenticeship simultaneously, which means sometimes I have had to delay assignments or activities in order to juggle both.
My tutor is fantastic!
I feel more confident.
Yes, we have staff networks.
Yes
I think there is room for improvement in terms of communication. However, I think they are trying to take some of the feedback into account and make improvements. Personally, I feel that the apprenticeship has benefited me and in particular, I feel very grateful for my personal tutor.
Look into which apprenticeship will meet your learning needs and start early, don't leave things to the last minute as there is a lot to juggle!
